24 Hours of Le Mans 1982
In 1982, the FIA World Sportscar Championship launched new regulations Introducing Group C sportscars. For its first 24 hours race in Group C, Porsche won all the podium places, with the 3 Rothmans-sponsored Porsche 956 ending in perfect formation across the finish line exactly as were their racing numbers.

AF Corse's with the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo triumphed in the LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am classes. Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Côme Ledogar at the wheel of the #51 Ferrari won the LMGTE Pro class, while Nicklas Nielsen, François Perrodo and Alessio Rovera won the LMGTE Am class.

What a race! #51 Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GT3 driven by Cöme Ledogar, Nicklas Nielsen and Alessandro Pier Guidi have been leading since the 11th hour. #32 Audi R8 LMS GT3 has always been very close… moste of time within 10” taking the lead thanks to a smarter strategy when have rain started 45’ from the end. Alessadro Pier Guidi took the lead back thanks to his maestria in the rain.
GT 24 Hours of SPA 2021 pre-race news
Raffaele Marciello with #88 Mercedes-AMG Team AKKA ASP GT3 did snatch pole during Super Pole session being the only one to fly a lap under the 2’18”. That was 0.303” faster than Mirko Bortolotti.
This is the third straight pole position at the 24 Hours of Spa for Mercedes-AMG and the second consecutive for Marciello.

FIA WEC LMGTE PRO Season 7, Race 7/8: 6 Hours of Spa 2019.
Spa-Francorchamps did go past its reputation of generating tough races for the 7th of the Super Season. It was even a chaotic race with alternate weather conditions dry, rain, snow, sleet, hail… the four seasons during the 6 hours!
The start was delayed due to the cold so that track temperature could reach the minimum 5°. Literally minutes later a storm blew in and before long the snow was falling again. And that’s pretty much how the race went as weather conditions cycled between clear and sunny to wet and windy as virtually every form of water fell from the skies.

WEC came back to its roots (WEC started in 2012 at Sebring) for the second time in 2019. It was the 6th race (out of 8) of the Super Season 2018-2019.
Lots of actions during the 1.000 Miles of Sebring 2019, as one count 19 different leaders during the race with 4 different manufacturers Porsche, Ford, BMW and Aston Martin.

Third race of the SuperSeason, third manufacturer win. After Ford at Francorchamps, Porsche at Le Mans, the 6 hours of Silverstone were won by AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE #51 A. Pier Guidi and J. Calado.
