GTWE & IGTC Test days for the 24 Hours of Francorchamps

GT WORLD CHALLENGE EUROPE powered by AWS (GTWE) & INTERCONTINENTAL GT CHALLENGE powered by Pirelli (IGTC)

The BMW M4 performed the best lap over the two days sessions in 2:17.968. They were not using the 2021 Pirelli tires and the car has not been homologated yet. BMW took advantage of these test days as part of its development program of the new BMW M4 GT3. Logically, the new M4 GT3 should be at the start of the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa in 2022.

The trio M. Tomczyk, T. Glock, T. Neubauer driving Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 #35 performed the second-best time of the 2 days test behind sister M4.

The Imperatori / Liberati / Burdon # 18 Porsche 911 GT3 R / KCMG was the fastest in the Tuesday afternoon session. Edoardo Liberati set the best time of 2: 22.155. The trio made the 3rd best lap during the 2 days sessions.

The Winward Racing Mercedes AMG #57 took the fourth spot of the 2 days sessions. Winward Racing was the top performer in the Silver Cup

The trio Stuart White, Pierre-Alexandre Jean and Ulysse de Pauw driving their CMR Bentley Continental GT3 #107 ended 5th of the 2 days sessions. The CMR team achieved the second best performance in the Silver Class.

Glad to see the Dane Train Sørensen / Thiim and Ross Gunn back in Francorchamps with their #95. For the 2 days test, it was officially with a Garage 59 Aston Martin Vantage but one could see a strong AMR support.
