Great beginning of a new season for the new Porsche as they both came on top of the first race at Silverstone in P1 for Gimmi Brunni – Richard Lietz in #91 and P2 for Kevin Estre - Michael Christensen.

Gimmi Bruni and Richard Lietz recovered superbly from a penalty after the rain cleared to win the 6 Hours of Silverstone 2019.

Despite qualifying last In LMGTE PRO 1.322 sec. behind AF CorseFerrari #51, Kevin Estre and Michael Christensen brought the double to Porsche ending second 3.802 sec. Behind sister car #91.

Aston Martin #97 of Alex Lynn and Maxime Martin was only 2.4 seconds of the second Porsche in P3.

Alessandro Pier Guidi in the No.51 closed down on the leading Porsche’s with relative ease and passed the duo in quick succession.
A drive-through penalty for overtaking during the safety car. Right after the Ferrari came into the pits, the penalty was overturned by the stewards, but ended Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado’s hope of winning the race. They enventualy ended P4, 9.768 sec. behind the Aston Martin.

The AF Corse Ferraris locked out the front row on Saturday and it seemed that the Ferrari’s had the faster package. The No.71 of Davide Rigon and Miguel Molina led early on but their race concluded suddenly after a collision with the No.6 Ginetta.
