The race
LMGTE PRO
Very close race in LMGTE PRO with Porsche #92 and Ferrari #51 fighting for 1st and Porsche #91 and Ferrari #52 fighting for 3rd. Porsche got 2 cars on the podium with P1 for #92 and P3 for #91 with Gianmaria Bruni and Richard Lietz. Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado (Ferrari #51) lost the lead after pitting for a fuel splash with two minutes to go, ending second.
Estre and Jani take the lead of the FIA World Endurance Drivers’ Championship, in front Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado (Ferrari #51) for 2 points.
LMGTE AM
François Perrodo, Nicklas Nielsen and Alessio Rovera dominated the LMGTE AM class after the #33 Aston Martin suffered a flat tire damaging the body work and forcing a long stop in box to repair. There still were 2 Aston Martin on the podium, with Augusto Farfus and his #98 Aston Martin taking over the #777 Aston Martin in the final lap.
It was very intense between Augusto Farfus (#98 NorthWest AMR Aston Martin) and Tomonobu Fujii (#777 D’station Racing Aston Martin) during the last two laps, with Farfus trying to overtake Fuji several times.
In the last chicane, Farfus took over to earn second place with his teammates Paul Dalla Lana and Marcos Gomes.
Fujii and his co-drivers Satoshi Hoshino and Andrew Watson settled for third.
Qualifications
LMGTE PRO
Third pole this season for Kevin Estre in #92 Porsche 911 RSR-19. He is very happy to be the best LMGTE Pro today but says Monza looks to be the best racetrack for Ferrari this season. So it should be an interesting race tomorrow in LMGTE Pro.

Ben Keating (#33 TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage) sets the best LMGTE AM lap.

Nicklas Nielsen was the fastest LMGTE AM with AF Corse Ferrari 488GTE #83.

FP2 LMGTE Pro best time by Kevin Estre (Porsche 911 RSR-19 #92).
Giancarlo Fisichella was the fastest LMGTE AM with AF Corse Ferrari 488GTE #54.
New line-ups
10 Ferrari 488 GTE in both LMGTE classes. The 2 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo dominated the Pro class yesterday in FP1.
New line-up for the Iron Dames #85 Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GTE. After her Second place in the GT3 class of the Michelin Le Mans Cup at Monza last weekend, Sarah Bovy will join Rahel Frey and Michell Gatting. Gatting was already replacing K. Legge at Portimao.
