Ferdinand Habsburg did the second best time in qualifications. The new team for Sophia Flörsch in the #24 ‘Drive Fast, Act Faster’ ORECA 07 LMP2 (in place of Diego Menchaca) will start in front row. Note the Change of livery in front of the car since the German driver is part of the team.
The 20 years old German started in ELMS LMP2 in 2020 at Le Castellet 240 with Beitske Visser for Richard Mille Racing Team.
This season, Sophia is running in the FIA World Endurance Championship on #1 Richard Mille Racing Team Oreca with Tatiana Calderón and Beitske Visser.
The German racer ran also the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2020 where she finished in 9th place alongside Visser and Tatiana Calderón. For the 2021 edition, she had an accident when Franco Colapinto lost control of his #26 G-Drive Aurus spun across the track and struck the front of Sophia Floersch car. Floersch #1 Oreca spun around, slammed the wall and found herself stranded in the middle of the track. Then the next pack of racers entered the S-turns. With nowhere to go, racing Team India’s Eurasia Ligier slammed into Floersch. It was spectacular but luckily Sophia was not hurt.

Laurents Hörr did drive the #4 DKR Engineering Duqueine to P3. Considering their rival for the championship are only 9th in the class (M. Bell with #19 Cool Racing Ligier), the tandem Hörr-De Barbuat is maximizing their chance to clinch the 2021 LMP3 championship.
LMGTE: Aston Martin, Porsche, Ferrari were the fastest
Ross Gunn driving the #95 TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage will start in pole of the LMGTE class after he ran a magical lap almost 1/2 second faster than his closest rival.
Gianmaria Bruni is second with his #77 Porsche 911 RSR-19 from Proton Competition.
