Two victories and two titles for Iron Lynx with #9 Prema Racing winning overall and LMP2 Drivers and Team Championships. The Iron Dames won LMGTE class.

Jack Aitken with #34 Racing Team Turkey, Malthe Jakobsen with #17 Cool Racing and Sarah Bovy with #83 Iron Dames Ferrari won pole in LMP2, LMP3 and LMGTE respectively.

Philip Hanson, Malthe Jakobsen and Alessio Picariello were the fastest in their class today during Free Practice 1 at Spa-Francorchamps.

The 4 Hours of Barcelona winning trio by class: Prema Racing, Inter Europol Compétition and Proton Competition. Prema and Proton teams and drivers are increasing their ELMS Championships class leadership. Inter Europol is reducing gap with class leader Cool Racing to 5 points.

Paul Loup Chatin in the #28 IDEC Sport Oreca set the fastest time in the first free practice session this afternoon, just a tenth ahead of Bent Viscaal in the #19 Oreca .

The LMP3 victory went to the #13 Inter Europol Competition Ligier driven by Guilherme Oliveira, Charles Crews and Nico Pino after a dramatic last 45’ which saw 5 different leaders.

From lap 41 onwards, Gianmaria Bruni, at the wheel of #77 Porsche 911 RSR-19, took the lead of the class until Lap 108 (of a total of 121 laps run by the overall leaders) when Davide Rigon took over the lead but was later disqualified. #77 Proton Competition is thereby the winner of the 4 Hours of Monza 2022 LMGTE class.

Patrick Pilet, Paul Loup Chatin and Paul Lafargue with #28 2019 Champion IDEC Sport Oreca won the 4 Hours of Monza making an end to #9 PREMA successive wins.

Mathias Beche with #31 TDS Racing x Vaillante was the fastest and will start from pole tomorrow. The team confirm the strong result they had at the recent 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Same results in LMP’s with #34 and #4 dominating. Davide Rigon did set the fastest time in LMGTE. Both #18 Absolute Racing drivers, Alessio Picariello and Martin Rump are 2nd and 3rd. 

Alessio Picariello was the fastest in class with #18 Absolute Racing Porsche 911 RSR-19, 0.271 sec. ahead of Lorenzo Ferrari with #77 Proton Competition Porsche 911 RSR-19. Four Porsche 911 RSR-19 are in the top 5 of the class.
