To crown the height of bad luck for the Iron Dames, Ferrari #83 had to make an emergency stop for fuel while the pitlane was officially closed during the third FCY. #55 Spirit of Race Ferrari 488 GTE Evo driven by Duncan Cameron took the lead for 9 laps at the beginning of the second hour.

Lorenzo Ferrari couldn’t resist a boosted David Rigon who demonstrated all his talent by remounting Ferrari #60 (which had never been in the game until then) from 8th place to first. The team would, later on, be disqualified as Rigon was assisted back to the pit lane and Parc Ferme by being pushed by the β€˜sister’ #83 Iron Lynx Ferrari.

After the misfortune of having to make an emergency stop for fuel while the pitlane was officially closed thereby losing all the advantage built up by Sarah Bovy, Michelle Gatting took over the car in eleventh and raced it up to seventh before handing it over to Rahel Frey, ending fourth of the 4 Hours of Monza 2022 LMGTE class.
