ELMS @ 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps 2022: LMP2 Race
With the elimination of IDEC Sport #28 following an exit by Paul Lafarque on the warm-up lap, Cool Racing #37 dominated the first 80 minutes of the 4 Hours of Francorchamps this afternoon.
Inter Europol Competition then took over for 11 laps until Nicolas Lapierre regained the lead but not for long. At the Source bend, Lapierre failed to brake and had to pit to replace a flat tire. The #22 of United Autosport then took command until the end of the race.
The #22 Oreca-Gibson driven by Duncan Tappy, Phil Hanson and Tom Gamble wins the 4 Hours of Spa. This is the 4th victory of this event for United Autosports and Phil Hanson since 2018.

J. Correa / L. Deletraz / F. Habsburg with the Prema Racing #9 took the third step of the podium.
N. Jamin, J. Van Uiteret and J. Canal still have hope (mathematically) in the championship with a 4th place which leaves them 24 points behind Prema Racing.
