ELMS @ 4 Hours of Monza 2022: Qualifications

The qualification sessions have now delivered the start grid for tomorrow’s 4 Hours of Monza race. LMP2 and LMP3 but Ferrari #60 with Davide Rigon is now fastest .

LMGTE: The boss was the fastest

Christian Ried (#77 Porsche 911 RSR-19), Proton competition owner was the fastest and will start the race in pole of the LMGTE class aside of Sarah Bovy who made a brilliant session qualifying the Iron Dames Ferrari 488 GTE EVo in P2. The ladies will start in front row.

Note that Christian Ried is third overall in combination of both practices and qualification best times, ahead of his teammate, factory driver, Gianmaria Bruni.

Ried and Bovy are really in another league among the bronze drivers as A. Haryanto with Porsche 911 RSR-19 #18 was 0.662 sec. slower than Ried. The other class drivers were close to or above one second slower.

LMP3: Cool Racing #17 and Europol Competition #13 will start form first row of class.

Malthe Jakobsen with #17 Cool Racing Ligier JS P320 was the fastest by a good margin of 0.794 sec. ahead of

Kay van Berlo with #3 United Autosport. Both United Autosport will start from second row as sister #2 was fourth best today with Finn Gehrsitz..

LMP2: TDS Racing on top

Mathias Beche with #31 TDS Racing x Vaillante was the fastest and will start from pole tomorrow. The team confirm the strong result they had at the recent 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Job Van Uitert with #65 Panis Racing did second best performance and will start from first row..

Pietro Fittipaldi with #43 Inter Europol Competition was third best a bit more than half second behind Beche.
