LMP1: Porsche made its comeback in top level class. 3 manufacturers aligned 7 cars for the win at Francorchamps.

After a fantastic double at the 6 Hours of Silverstone, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing won the 6 Heures de Spa-Francorchamps. The # 8 TS040 driven by the Davidson-Buemi-Lapierre trio wins ahead of the # 1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro.

#1 Audi Sport Team Joest Audi R18 e-tron quattro driven by Tom Kristensen, Loïc Duval and Lucas di Grassi ended second in the same lap as the winners.

The other Toyota TS040 HYBRID, # 7 climbs on the 3rd step of the podium with Sarrazin, Wurz and Nakajima.

Porsche made its comeback in top level class but faced electrical problem, the # 14 Porsche 919 Hybrid (Marc Lieb, Romain Dumas and Neel Jani), which had yet started from pole, finished close to the podium in P4, one lap behind the trio.

#2 Audi Sport Team Joest Audi R18 e-tron quattro driven by André Lotterer, Marcel Fässler and Benoit Tréluyer ended 5th.

#3 Audi Sport Team Joest Audi R18 e-tron quattro driven by Filipe Albuquerque and Marco Bonanomi ended 6th.

#12 Rebellion Racing driven by Nicolas Prost, Nick Heidfeld and Mathias Beche ended 7th, 10 laps behind the leaders and last LMP1.

The #20 Porsche of Webber-Hartley-Bernhard suffered the same reliability concerns as sister #14 with electrical problems ended 23rd overall 23 laps behind the winning Toyota.

Rebellion #13 driven by Dominik Krailhammer, Andrea Belicchi and Fabio Leimer was the only car that could not reach the finish line.

LMP2 podium

In the LMP2 category, G-Drive Racing also achieved new success after Silverstone. Their Morgan-Nissan from Pla-Rusinov-Canal # 26 won fairly easily in the same lap as #38 Zytek driven by Gené-Tincknell-Dolan from Jota Sport 2nd and Howson-Bradley-Imperatori's Oreca 03 KCMG completed the podium.
