WEC-Imola: Fuoco tops Thursday free practices

3 Ferrari works drivers within top 5

It was a Ferrari 1-2 at Imola during this morning free practice with Yifei Ye setting the pace in the #83 AF Corse Ferrari 499P ahead of Antonio Fuoco with #50 Ferrari 499P. During the late afternoon session, Antonio Fuoco, Kevin Estre (Porsche #6) and Robert Schwartzman (Ferrari #83) did beat Ye’s morning Benchmark.

📷 © Luc Warnotte at Monza. Fuoco recorded a best lap of 1:30.957 in the #50 Ferrari 499P during FP2, being the first driver of the weekend to break the 1:31 barrier.

Brendon Hartley with Toyota #8 was the fifth best of the day and last one within 1 second of Fuoco fast lap.

6 Ferrari works drivers are among the top 10 of the day

Mikkel Jensen slotted into third with #93 Peugeot 9X8 during the morning session and Mirko Bortolotti who was fourth with the #63 Lamborghini SC63. They become respectively 6th and 7th of the day.

Three Ferrari works drivers are next in the top 10 performers of the day with Antonio Giovinazzi (Ferrari #51) 8th, Miguel Molina (Ferrari #50) 9th and Alessandro Pier Guidi (Ferrari #51) 10th.
