Porsche Penske Motorsport is facing an intense weekend as its works teams aim to achieve top results with the Porsche 963 at Spa-Francorchamps in the World Endurance Championship WEC FIA and Laguna Seca in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

With seven consecutive Spa wins TOYOTA GAZOO Racing is unbeaten there since 2017. Mike Conway and Kamui Kobayashi can challenge for a hat-trick of wins in Belgium, Sebastien Buemi for a sixth win at Spa.

Both BMW M Team RLL BMW M Hybrid V8 didn’t reach the first podium despite the strong pace of the BMW M Hybrid V8. At Imola, the BMW M Team WRT BMW M Hybrid V8 made enormous improvements compared to the WEC season opener in Qatar.

Team Peugeot TotalEnergies, Cadillac Racing, and Alpine Endurance Team lost any chance to be in contention for a podium seat following the chaotic start at Tamburello.

The Imola BoP did not level the performances between LMH and LMDh based homologated cars, even not within one group of homologated cars (LMH or LMDh). We also make the comparison for LMDh with IMSA!

Toyota claimed an unexpected victory thanks to perfect strategy despite not being the fastest Hypercar in the race. It is the second race win in a row for Toyota at Imola.

It’ll be a Ferrari front row but not a red one as #50 Ferrari 499P and #83 AF Corse Ferrari 499P did 1-2 during Hyperpole session this afternoon.

Six Ferrari works drivers are among the top 10 fastest drivers of the day. Kevin Estre with Porsche #6 was the second fastest « killing » the 1-2 set by Ferrari #83 and Ferrari #50 in the morning session.

The new 2024 Imola BoP was published 12/04 getting LMH and LMDh even closer than at Qatar. In LMGT3, the ballast based on success will be applied.
