BMW and Ferrari losing Rolex 24 manufacturers points
Both BMW and Ferrari have been sanctioned for performance in excess during the Rolex 24 At Daytona, losing all their IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and Michelin Endurance Cup manufacturers points in the GTD PRO and GTD classes.

Risi Comptizione’s Ferrari 296 GT3 won overall combined GTD PRO and GTD classes and Winward Racing’s Mercedes AMG GT3 won GTD class finishing third of combined classes. Four Ferrari 296 GT3 among top 7 GT3 entries.
Five Ferrari 296 GT3s line up for the ROLEX 24
The Maranello manufacturer will field five Ferrari 296 GT3s and seven official drivers competing in the two GTD/GTD PRO classes. Two additional Ferrari official drivers will compete inLMP2 class.
