Century BMW M4 GT3 tops pre-qualifying at Nürburg

Damp conditions this morning at the Nürburgring with 99% humidity for the free practice headed by Gilles Magnus in Sainteloc Racing’s #25 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II with a best lap of 1:56.043.

The afternoon pre-qualifying session of the 3 hours of Nürburgring (thrid round) of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered By AWS Endurance Cup occurred under very wet conditions, hence the fastest lap more than 13 sec. slower than during free practice.

Seven different makes are represented in the top 7.

Two Bronze class teams topping

More rain fell after the first 10 minutes of the session during which two « Bronze class » teams were topping the timesheets with Toby Sowery setting the fastest lap in 2:09.613 with #991 Century BMW M4 GT3, 0,301s. faster than Adam Smalley in #188 Garage 59 Mc Laren 720S GT3 EVO.

Both ROWE BMW M4 GT3 follow in the top 10 with Marco Wittmann in #98 ahead of Max Hesse in #998.
