First podium this season for the Iron Dames with their #83 Iron Lynx machine. Despite starting from the last position, Michelle Gatting made a serious “remontada” to end her stint brilliantly in P3. Bronze driver Sarah Bovy took over and became leader of the class for many laps until the experienced Emmanuel Collard (#88 AF Corse Ferrari) passed her at T1. After a new FCY and some more pitstops, Bovy dropped to fourth. With a bit more than one hour to go, Bovy and Laser (#93 Proton Competition Porsche) started a talented demonstration with Laser trying to pass Bovy and succeeding in T19 but then Bovy reconquered the place in T1 before Laser took over again in T18 on the next lap.

Rahel Frey completed the successful race of the Dames’ trio by closing the gap thanks to a last FCY and smartly taking over Laser in the final minutes restart of the race to cross the checkered flag in P3.

Matt Campbell handed over his #77 Proton Competition Porsche to Christian Ried in P1. Ried lost the lead on lap 38 being passed by #88 Ferrari, which was driven by François Perrodo. Mac Neil took over from Ried in P2 but was demoted to third when he was passed by the #80 Ferrari of Matteo Cressoni at Les Combes. Together with Richard Lietz, the team ended in P7 after being served a drive through penalty for Mac Neil abusing track limits.
