Marciello wins Qualifying Race at Macau
Dries Vanthoor (#32 BMW M4 GT3) was quickest from start but Raffaele Marciello (#1 Toro Racing by MCG BMW M4 GT3) did a master overtake a couple of curves later to lead the FIA GT World Cup Qualifying Race on a Macau dry track.
With the 4 BMW M4 GT3 entries in the top 6 of qualifying Friday, FIA technical staff decided a post-qualifying Balance of Performance adjustment with a reduction of turbo boost for the BMW M4 GT3 ahead of the FIA GT World Cup Qualifying Race in Macau.

With Raffaele Marciello in #1 Toro Racing by MCG BMW M4 GT3 dominating the race from lap 1 to the end, Dries Vanthoor (#32 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3) ending second 0.666 second behind, Augusto Farfus completing the top-five in the #89 KRC BMW, followed by Sheldon van der Linde (#31 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3), the four BMW M Works drivers kept their qualifying position (1, 2, 5, 6) during the qualifying race despite a post qualifying BoP change.

Fuoco outpaces Engel for podium
Antonio Fuoco (fourth in qualifying) took an authoritarian P3 after driving side by side with Maro Engel (#130 Mercedes) to complete the podium in the #83 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3. Maro Engel in the #130 GruppeM Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo ended fourth.
