The last round of the 10th season of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) will start in a few minutes featuring LMGTE PRO for the last time.
Porsche and Ferrari are head to head in both drivers and manufacturers championships.
Qualification session saw both team’s cars with 0,329 seconds sharing the two front lines ahead of Corvette #64 penalised by BoP.
Bruni lapped the 5.4-kilometre circuit in 1:56.143 minutes. No one managed to undercut his lap time.
Fuoco’s best time of 1'56''419 at the wheel of AF Corse’s 488 GTE #52, recorded on the second of five laps, yielded second place behind Gianmaria Bruni in the #91 Porsche.
At his first attempt, Christensen set the third fastest time before pitting for a fresh set of Michelin tyres for his second shot. While the Dane improved his lap time to second place, this attempt was voided shortly after for exceeding the track limits.
The Af Corse’s other car, the #51 Ferrari of reigning world champions Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado, came fourth, with the Italian driver 0,329 seconds off pole.
LMGTE AM
Sarah Bovy took top spot in the Iron Dames’ 488 GTE #85, 0,512 seconds ahead of Ben Keating with TF Sport’s Aston martin Vantage #33.
