The #81 driven by Devlin Defrancesco, Patricio O'Ward, Colton Herta and Eric Lux snatched victory in the last ten minutes when Colton Herta overtook Louis Delétraz (mistakenly told to save fuel) in the #8 Tower Motorsport. The victory of LMP3 class went to #74 of Riley Motorsports which signed a 2nd consecutive victory at Daytona with Gar Robinson, Felipe Fraga, Kay van Berlo and Michael Cooper, one lap ahead of the 2nd.

Sean Creech Motorsport's #33 ended second with M. Jakobsen, S. Priaulx, L. Wilsley and J. Barbosa.

and Core Autosport's #54 made it onto the podium with C. Braun, G. Kurtz, N. Jonsson and J. Bennett.
