From Le Mans to The Glen
A few IMSA entries who participated to the 24 Hours of Le Mans are now back at Watkins Glen for the fifth race of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship: the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen

On top of the traditional WEC entry (#2 Cadillac V-Series.R), regular IMSA Cadillac Racing #01 and Whelen Engineering Cadillac Racing #31 participated to the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023 with different fortunes.
The #3 Cadillac V-Series.R finished fourth after an adventurous race with Sebastien Bourdais, Renger van der Zande and Scott Dixon switching off in the seat. The #3 Cadillac V-Series.R had to pit once to change the rear-wing assembly after being clipped by another car and once to change the front assembly after spin on a drenched racetrack – plus sitting for an untimely one-minute hold penalty for a technical infraction.
Scott Dixon will not drive the #01 Cadillac V-Series.R at The Glen which shall be shared between Bourdais and van der Zande.
The #311 Whelen Engineering Cadillac V-Series.R sustained damage in a Lap 1 incident at the exit of the Daytona Chicane. The crew quickly and seamlessly worked to return the car to the racetrack, and Alexander Sims, Pipo Derani and Jack Aitken soldiered on to place 10th in class, 17th overall 18 laps behind the leaders.
At the Glen, Sims, Derani and Aitken will share the wheel of #31 Cadillac V-Series.R
Porsche Penske Motorsport eager to climd the podium again
#75 Porsche 963 shared by works drivers Nick Tandy, Felipe Nasr and Mathieu Jaminet led the field during 5 laps. However, bad luck hit late in the evening at 10:44 pm: Jaminet rolled to a stop on the track without power. A lack of fuel pressure made it impossible to continue – heralding an early end for this team. Source: Porsche
At The Glen, Nick Tandy and Mathieu Jaminet will share #6 Porsche 963 and Felipe nasr will share #7 Porsche with Matt Campbell
