The 3 #01 Chip Ganassi Cadillac drivers dominated FP1 as they were topping the Practice 1 results with Renger van der Zande Setting the best lap in front of teammate Sebastien Bourdais and Ryan Hunter-Reay all three ahead of Tom Blomqvist with #60 Meyer Shank Racing W/Curb-Agajanian Acura DPI.

  • Mike Rockenfeller with Ally Cadillac #48 who has to drive all practices and qualifying as his co drivers Kamui Kobayashi and Jose Maria Lopez are required by Toyota to concentrate solely on the WEC 1.000 miles race. They’ll be free to run the Ally Cadillac saturday and wil need to share the No. 48 Cadillac during the 20’ warmup as only practice before the 12 hours race.
