TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa 2022: J-1 Super Pole

The Warm up took place today at 6:20 pm during 1/2 hour. It was the last opportunity for the 66 cars to perform some check laps before the start tomorrow. Some drivers have still difficulties to remain within the boundaries set by SRO: the end of the kerbs!

Andrea Caldarelli with the #6 Orange1 KPAX Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo did set the fastest lap of the 2022 TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa Super Pole but was disqualified and will start from P30 on the grid, 10 places behind the 20 cars that made it through to Superpole from opening qualifying on Thursday..

Raffaele Marciello, who did win the session in the previous edition will start from Pole with AMG Team AKKODIS ASP Mercedes-AMG GT3 #88 as he was second of the session.

#54 Dinamic Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3-R as Klaus Bachler was third and will start from first row.

The second row will be occupied by AMG Team GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG GT3 #2 thanks to fourth performance established by Luca Stolz and Emil Frey Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo #63 with fifth best time realized by Mirko Bortolotti.

Third row will see GPX Martini Racing Porsche 911 GT3-R #221 thanks to Kevin Estre who drove the 6th best lap and #12 Audi Sport Team Tresor Audi R8 LMS evo II GT3.

Qualification winning Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GT3 #71 will start from 6th row and sister Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GT3 #51 from 7th.

Al Manar Racing by HRT Mercedes-AMG GT3 #777 was the only Silver Cup among the 17 pro-cup as Fabian Schiller did set the 9th best lap ahead of 9 Pro-Cup.

The top 17 are within 1 second which, as expected, is promising for a ferrous battle this weekend for the 2022 TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa.
