The legendary race track of Spa-Francorchamps delivered another fabulous edition of the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa 2022. It all started at 16:45 under a nice sky and it remained dry during the whole 24 hours race.
One favorite did start from the back of the grid: Nick Tandy with KCMG Porsche 911 GT3 #47.

After 6 hours, 26 cars were still in the same lap with Nicky Catsburg, Augusto Farfus, Nick Yelloly driving #98 Rowe Racing BMW M4 GT3, and leading and clinching the 12 points awarded to the leader at that timing.

After 12 hours of racing, #98 Rowe Team BMW M4 GT3 driven by Nicky Catsburg, Augusto Farfus, Nick Yelloly repeated the 6-hour coup, still in first place and winning the 12 points awarded to the first overall, at mid-race. Both Rowe Racing BMW M4 GT3 were actually dominating the race with sister #50 driven by BMW Junior Team Daniel Harper, Neil Verhagen, Max Hesse.
12 cars were still in the same lap with Raffaele Marciello, Daniel Juncadella, Jules Gounon driving AMG Team AKKODIS ASP Mercedes-AMG GT3 #88 in P3, Antonio Fuoco, Daniel Serra, Davide Rigon with Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GT3 #71 in P4, #95 Beechdean AMR Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 driven by Maxime Martin, Marco Sorensen, Nicki Thiim in P5 and Dennis Olsen, Nick Tandy, Laurens Vanthoor who made a brilliant race starting from P66 and being 6th with their KCMG Porsche 911 GT3 #47.

At that time, two animators of the early hours had retired: Albert Costa, Mirko Bortolotti, Jack Aitken with Emil Frey Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 evo #63 and Richard Lietz, Michael Christensen, Kevin Estre driving #221 GPX Martini Racing Porsche 911 GT3-R, after remaining always in the top 3.
