Simpson that crossed checkered flag first after leading #28 IDEC Sport had to pit due to a puncture with 14 laps to go and Louis Deletraz with #34 Racing Team Turkey had to give up the lead four laps before the end, struggling for grip.

The #30 Duqueine Team with N. Pino, R. Binder and Neel Jani took the lead for the first time in the 89th lap during 15 laps. During the last round of pit stops, they fell down to fourth but then they moved up to second place three laps before the end thanks to the tires problems of #28 and #34.
