Corvette Racing team is looking for two titles within two different series in 2022: the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), and defending its crown in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. To do so, one Corvette C8.R will contest the full calendar in each series. For the WEC, the C8.R will run in the same configuration as the last two seasons in IMSAβs GT Le Mans (GTLM) category as well as GTE-Pro at Le Mans last August.
The driver line-up remain unchanged but split in the two championships.
Nick Tandy and Tommy Milner will be the full-time drivers in the #64 Corvette C8.R for the WEC LMGTE-Pro class. Milner will discover new circuits but Tandy has already competed three full-season campaigns in the WEC.
For the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Milner and Tandy will be joined by Alexander Sims on board of the #64 Corvette C8.R. Corvette Racing team will also align IMSA sister #63 in the GTE-Pro class withTaylor, Garcia and Catsburg.
