Pechito Lopez, who usually drives #7 Toyota GR010 HYBRID in WEC, struck a blow today by setting the best time of the morning practice session in 1:43.030 with Cool Racing Oreca #47. He was 9 tenths faster than the runner-up Malthe Jakobsen in the sister Cool Racing #37.

Kai Askey with #13 Inter Europol Competition Ligier JS P320 topped LMP3 class in 1:50.432, 0.103 second faster than Marcos Siebert in Cool Racing Ligier #17.

Nicki Thiim with #44 GMB Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage AMR was the fastest in class, 0.008 second ahead of Matthew Griffin with #55 Spirit of Race Ferrari 488 GTE Evo.

The top 5 drivers in LMGTE class are within 0.300 second representing the 3 manufacturers in class (Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche). Two drivers of the #60 Iron Lynx (Matteo Cressoni and Matteo Cairoli) are also within those 5 with the second Porsche 911 RSR-19 in class behind Julien Andlauer (#77 Proton Competition).

As expected, those performances were not beaten during the Bronze Driver Collective Test in the afternoon as the fastest driver (Salih Yoluc with Racing Team Turkey #34) was almost 2 seconds (1.981 seconds) slower than Lopez fastest lap in FP1.
