BEN BARKER, No. 77 Proton Competition Ford Mustang GT3 – "Honestly, I'm at a loss for words. This is great. We came into this not knowing truly where we were going to be. Everyone from Ford Performance, Multimatic Motorsports to Proton Competition has worked tirelessly in every single test to get this car faster each session. It's proven here, and it's not top-speed. Everyone may think Mustang is all about top speed, but it just feels balanced and really nice. The car was working for me and I had so much confidence in it. I'd say this lap was one of the most enjoyable I've had at Le Mans... and I've done it quite a few times. It's a testament to the team and the car. It's a long way to go, but it's a good start. You have to enjoy these moments." Source: FORD

DANI JUNCADELLA, NO. 82 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R – THIRD IN LMGT3: “I was pushing the limits a lot in that session. We used three sets of tires, so tells you a lot. But that was the effort we had to do in order to make Hyperpole, and it was that last-minute lap that got us in. I’m very happy with that, for sure. I was hoping it would be a bit easier. Obviously the level of competition is high and there are still a couple of bits to improve in the car. Fortunately we still have a couple of sessions to get it ready for the race. I’m thankful to have such a nice car like the Corvette to be able to do qualifying here at Le Mans on low fuel and new tires. It’s a nice experience in my first time here. Thanks to the TF Sport guys for a great car. Now we can look forward.” Source: Corvette Racing

Klaus Bachler (Porsche 911 GT3 R #92): “What an intense session – my team sent me out on the track twice with fresh tyres. I was unlucky the first time because I was hampered by slower cars. When I went out the second time, things went better. I made it into the Hyperpole with fifth place. I’m delighted and satisfied with the result. Hopefully, we can fight for pole position in the LMGT3 class on Thursday.Source: Porsche
