1000 Miles of Sebring: Wednesday Practices

The two Ferrari 499P performed superbly during the Wednesday morning practice in cloudy and cool weather. They ended the session in P2 and P3, at 0.286 sec. and 0.390 sec. of Ryo Hyrakawa's Toyota GR010 hybrid #8. James Calado set the second time of the session with #51 Ferrari 499P and Miguel Molina, the third time with the #50 sister.

During the second session, #7 Toyota would take the lead in the combined ranking of the two sessions with Kamui Kobayashi setting the fastest lap in 1:46.954.

Brendon Hartley confirmed a P2 for Toyota #8 with 1:47.272, 0.377 sec. faster than the lap time set by his teammate Ryo Hirakawa in the morning session. Together with Calado in Ferrari #51 they are the only four drivers to have set a lap time within 1 sec. of Kobayashi's fastest lap of the day.

Calado and Molina did not improve their morning performance, still putting their Ferraris in P3 and P4 in the combined practices ranking.
