Maro Engel and Lucas Auer will share the #48 Winward Racing mercedes-AMG GT3 which enabled them to clinch pole and win in the Brands Hatch second sprint race.

With 3 wins and 2 pole out of 4 races so far in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered By AWS Sprint Cup Teams, BMW M Team WRT is leading with 56 points. Winward Racing is second (48,5 pts) and Emil Frey racing third (46,5 pts). Both Emile Frey Ferrari 296 GT3 #14 and #69 have clinched a podium seat for 3 of the four Sprint races so far (2 P2 and 1 P3) demonstrating consistency but lacking velocity. Having two cars to score points at Hockenheim is definitively an advantage for the Swiss team comparing to Team WRT and Winward Racing with one PRO car each.
