BMW Junior Team tops Official paid Test Sessions at Nürburgring
The two Official paid Test Sessions were dominated by the BMW junior team this Thursday at Nürburgring in the frame of the penultimate round of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS Endurance Cup.
The Benchmark of the day was set in the afternoon session as the track dried comparing to a wet track in the morning.
4 PRO within 0.182 seconds
Two cars topped the GT3 teams running this afternoon with a very tight margin of 0.006 seconds. Daniel Harper, Neil Verhagen, Max Hesse driving Rowe Racing BMW M4 GT3 #998 did set the fastest lap in 1:54.748.
Christopher Haase, Frederic Vervisch, Kobe Pauwels with ComToYou Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo 2 #11 were second in 1:54.754.
Philipp Eng, Marco Wittmann, Nick Yelloly with #98 Rowe Racing BMW M4 GT3 were third 0.165 seconds slower than the benchmark.
Ricardo Feller, Mattia Drudi, Dennis Marschall driving Tresor Orange 1 Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II #40 were fourth 0.182 seconds slower.
A Pro-AM in P5 overall.
Rob Collard, Dennis Lind with #78 Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO 2 were fifth overall and first Pro-AM.
