Endurance Cups at play this weekend at Barcelona
The Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS Championship is heading to Barcelona for the last Endurance round of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS Endurance Cups. It’ll also be the penultimate round of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS Championships.
10 Cups will be awarded this weekend with the 5th round of the Endurance Cup after Monza, Paul Ricard, 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps and Nürburgring: 5 classes (Overall, Bronze, Gold, PRO-AM, Silver) and two Cups for each class (Teams and a Drivers).
Here are the remaining contenders per Cup.
Akkodis ASP Team and Rowe Racing for overall cups
A maximum of 31 points will be awarded at Barcelona (1 for pole, 25 for victory and 5 for Fanatec Points Boost) in Endurance Cup Teams.
With two victories and two poles at Paul Ricard and Nürburgring plus a P2 at Spa 24 Hours, Akkodis ASP Team is currently leading the Cup 15 points ahead Rowe Racing.
A maximum of 26 points will be awarded at Barcelona (1 for pole, 25 for victory) in Endurance Cup Drivers.
Timur Boguslavskiy, Jules Gounon and Raffaele Marciello are leading the Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS Endurance Cup Drivers with 18 points.
With 2 victories at Monza and Spa 24 Hours as well as a P3 at Paul Ricard, Rowe Racing need the pole and a victory at Barcelona AND Akkodis ASP Team not performing better than a P5 to clinch the Teams’ Cup… unless one of their drivers wins Fanatec Points Boost which has not happened so far this season for both teams.
Marco Wittman, Philipp Eng and Nick Yelloly need a pole and victory at Barcelona AND the #88 Mercedes-AMG GT3 drivers not performing better than a P6 to clinch the Endurance Cup Drivers.
Four teams in contention for Bronze class Cups
Considering a maximum of 26 points will be awarded at Barcelona (1 for pole, 25 for victory) in Endurance Cup Bronze Drivers and Teams, four teams are still in contention for the Cups.

Car Collection Motorsport very close in Pro-Am
