Second victory in a row for Falken Porsche at NLS

The second round of 2025 ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife saw both Falken Porsche 911 dominate the race until the Walkenhorst Aston Martin Vantage emerged, crossed checkered flag first but was handed a penalty ending second to Boccolacci '- Picariello with #3 Falken Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R who clinched Falken Motorsports’ second win in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie this season.

Frank Stippler in #8 JUTA RACING Audi R8 LMS GT3 started in pole in bright sunshine with a substantial crowd and kept the lead during his stint. Obviously, with amateurs drivers as co-drivers taking over after 7 laps, the #8 Audi went down the overall ranking.

Ford Mustang in P2!

Before pitting, David Olsen with #2 Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang GT3 was battling with the two Falken Motorsports Porsche to keep his P2. Drudi in #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo was observing the fight from distance.

Comeback from ROWE Racing BMW M4 GT3

Starting from fifth row with a ninth fastest lap overall during qualifying, Augusto Farfus and Jesse Krohn with #98 ROWE Racing BMW M4 GT3 EVO have progressively moved up in the ranking after battling with other PRO drivers.

Early in the fourth hour, Marciello was head to head with Krognes in #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage GT3 (center and right).

After Tim Heinemann and Dennis Marshall with #4 Falken Motorsport Porsche 911 fell back due to a pit stop problem, Picariello and Boccolacci in sister #3 Falken Motorsport Porsche 911 controlled the race with Boccolacci letting the #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage take the lead as it was handed a 37” penalty. Dorian Boccolacci scored his first win at the Nürburgring after clinching P2 at last race.

Promising P2 for Aston Martin

When Krognes in #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage GT3 crossed the checkered flag first 7.751” ahead the winning #3 Porsche, his team had already been handed a 37” penalty for failing to meet the minimum pit stop time. The #34 Aston martin was ultimately classified second 30.751 seconds behind the winners. The result is promising for Aston Martin who goes to the next 24 Hours of Nürburgring with a strong lineup for the win.
