IMSA at Watkins Glen combined free practices

Philipp Eng in #24 BMW M Hybrid V8 did set the fastest lap of 1:33.725 in Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen‘s combined free practices. The top four drivers did improve their yesterday’s best lap during this morning session. Practice 2 came to a premature end due to an accident by Connor De Phillippi with #25 BMW M Team RLL.

Mathieu Jaminet second with #6 Porsche 963

The #6 Penske Porsche 963 of Mathieu Jaminet was 0.175 seconds short of this morning Benchmark.

The two Cadillac V-Series.R follow

Both Cadillac GTP’s were within 0.250 seconds of Eng’s Benchmark.

Renger van der Zande was third quickest in the #01 Chip Ganassi Racing Cadillac V-Series.R (+0.233), followed by Tom Blomqvist in the #31 Action Express Racing Cadillac (0.243).

Dan Cameron’s fastest lap set yesterday in the #7 Porsche Penske Motorsport Porsche 963 complete the top-five of combined sessions.
