2024 ROLEX 24: Entries updates J-32

AWA, Proton Competition and Vasser Sullivan recent announcements.

Proton Competition

Proton Competition changes sponsor for Mustang Sampling, an oil and natural gas company based in Texas. The Mustang Sampling livery was used on DPIs of Action Express Racing and JDC Miller Motorsports in the years 2010 and early 2020 in IMSA. The two first confirmed drivers are: Gianmaria Bruni and Neel Jani.

Vasser Sullivan

Mike Conway renews last year’s experience by joining the winners of 2023 IMSA GTD class Champions Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat driving #14. Kyle Kirkwood was already confirmed as third driver for IMEC races. In 2022, the quartet did finish 3rd in GTD class the 24 Hours of Daytona.

Ritomo Miyata, Super Formula and Super GT champion in title as well as Gazoo Racing driver, will be part of #12 lineup with Parker Thompson, Frankie Montecalvo and Aaron Telitz.

AWA’s Corvette liveries.

AWA have revealed the two liveries for 2024 of both Corvette Z06 running in GTD class.

Matt Bell and Orey Fidani are IMSA Championship drivers of #13 with Lars Kern for the Michelin Endurance Championship (IMEC races) and Alex Lynn at Daytona.

Nico Varrone and Anthony Mantella are the full season drivers of #17 with Thomas Merrill for IMEC races. Charlie Eastwood will be the fourth driver for the 24 Hours of Daytona.
