Cadillac Racing Continues Development Ahead of Rolex 24 At Daytona

Both Cadillac Racing teams (Chip Ganassi Racing and Whelen Engineering) have continued hard working in their preparations for year two of their hybrid Cadillac V-Series.R ahead of IMSA’s season-opening endurance race kicking off on Saturday, January 27, Chip.

The team recently tested at Daytona International Speedway from December 6-9 alongside other competitors set for competition this month. “Toward the end of the season with the couple of tests we had, we started to learn more about the car and what makes it go and what doesn’t work,” said Bourdais. “It’s going to be a continuous learning process, trying to make numbers fall into place and validate the reads.”

#01 Cadillac V-Series.R lineup for the season will be Sebastien Bourdais and Renger van der Zande as last year. Scott Dixon will be the third driver for IMEC races.

#31 Cadillac V-Series.R lineup for the season will be Pipo Derani and Jack Aitken for the full season. They will be joined by Tom Blomqvist for IMEC races.
