ROLEX 24 GTP practices

The Rolex 24 practices this Friday did not see major lap time improvements comparing to Thursday sessions in GTP class.
Session 4 and 5 this Friday saw BMW M Hybrid-V8 pointing its nose in third position but with no change in the combined sessions.

Richard Westbrook confirmed the great form of the Cadillac V-LMDh #02 by achieving the best time of Thursday and Friday combined practices sessions in 1:35.185.

Louis Deletraz was second during practice 2 with #10 Konica Minolta Acura ARX-06 in 1:35.423 which was close to Felipe’s Albuquerque fastest lap during practice 1 in 1:35.366

The two other Cadillacs V-LMDh are 3rd and 4th of Thursday and Friday combined practices with Renger van der Zande setting a time of 1:35.427 with Cadillac Racing #01 and Pipo Derani setting a time of 1:35.465 with Whelen Engineering Racing #31.

Both Porsche Penske Motorsport follow with Felipe Nasr setting the time of 1:35. 547 with Porsche 963 #7 and Mathieu Jaminet setting the time of 1:35.564 with Porsche #6.

Tom Blomqvist with #60 Meyer Shank Acura ARX-06 was seventh of Thursday and Friday combined practices with a time of 1:35.665 during practice 1.

Both BMW M Hybrid V8 are closing the march of GTP class. Nick Yelloly was eighth with #25 in a time of 1:35.911 And Marco Wittman was ninth with #24 in a time of 1:36.563.
