Best time overall per session
Following the usual format, a free practice was run in the morning and a pre-qualifying in the afternoon.
Mercedes-AMG and Audi succeeded each a one-two in one session with Mercedes-AMG having two cars on top of hierarchy in the morning and Audi also two R8 in the afternoon.
We first review the top ten performers overall in Monza Friday sessions then look at the combined results per category.
Morning Free Practice
Jules Gounon with #88 Akkodis ASP Mercedes-AMG GT3 was the fastest of the session in 1m46.187s, 0.075sec. ahead of Fabian Schiller with #777 Mercedes-AMG Team AlManar.
The top 8 were trusted by Mercedes-AMG and Audi with #40 Tresor Orange 1 Audi third, Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG fourth and four Audi R8 from P5 to P8.
#55 Dinamic GT Huber Racing Porsche 911 GT3 was ninth ahead of two Audi R8.
Afternoon Pre-Qualifying
Lorenzo Patrese with the #99 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi took P1 of the session with 1m46.568sec., 0.064 sec. faster than Simon Gachet with the #25 SaintΓ©loc Junior Team Audi who was second overall.
#88 Akkodis ASP Mercedes-AMG was again at the forefront by signing the third performance of the afternoon.
This time, the top 10 was mixed with Audi R8 (3), Mercedes-AMG GT3 (4), two BMW M GT3 (both Rowe Racing sixth and tenth) and one Porsche 911 GT3 (#54 Dinamic GT Huber Racing).

Fabian Schillers, second with #777 Mercedes-AMG Team AlManar, was also faster in the morning session than Lorenzo Patrese with the #99 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi taking P1 of the afternoon session

Bronze
In the Bronze category five cars did set a faster lap during the free practice than the Ferrari who was first of class in pre-qualifying.
