GTWorldChEu delivered again a spectacular weekend at Valencia, the last round of the Sprint season at Valencia as well as three drivers crown.
It all started with Race 1 on Saturday when Ulysse de Pauw and Pierre-Alexandre Jean in their #53 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo confirmed their Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup Silver Drivers by winning Saturday’s 60-minute race despite anunfavorable Balance of Performance.
Dries Vanthoor and Charles Weerts clinched their third consecutive Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup Overall Driver title in the first race of .
By finishing third and their challengers Marciello - Boguslavskiy seventh of race 1, Dries Vanthoor and Charles Weerts added 6,5 points to the 11.5 points advance they had in the driver’s standing. With one race to spare the #32 Team WRT Audi pairing established an insurmountable 18 points gap to seal the championship.
This is a third crown for Team WRT in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS as Benjamin Goethe and Thomas Neubauer already clinched the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Silver Drivers and Teams championship with #30 Team WRT Audi R8 LMS evo II GT3.
Miguel Ramos and Dean MacDonald sealed the GTWC Europe Sprint Cup Pro-Am Drivers title with #188 Garage 59 McLaren 720S GT3 despite last (fourth) in class on Saturday. Ironically, the Garage 59 pairing fell back in the race order after contact with their main championship rivals Andrea Bertolini and Louis Machiels in #52 AF Corse Ferrari who ended third in class leaving MacDonald and Ramos with a mathematically secure 18-point margin in the class standings.
Sunday’s race 2 brought Team WRT a nice cherry on the cake as Dries Vanthoor and Charles Weerts won the race after a bold choice of tires which finally enabled to duo to get victory and clinch the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup Overall Team title (fourth crown).

Team WRT clinched a fifth crown as Thomas Neubauer and Benji Goethe with #30 Team WRT Audi R8 LMS evo II GT ended 6th in class clinching the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Silver Cup drivers' title.
With a P3 in class Hugo Delacour and Cedric Sbirrazzuoli in AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 #21 clinched the GTWC Europe Sprint Cup Pro-Am Team title for AF Corse.
