Porsche 911 tops Free Practices at Macau
This morning FIA GT World Cup Free Practice session saw the GT drivers slaloming in the street of Macau under wet conditions. Seven-time winner Edoardo Mortara did set the pace with a best lap of 2:33.309 in his #63 SJM VSR Theodore Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2. Under mixed conditions, the two Absolute Racing Porsche 911 did dominate the session where almost all drivers did improve the morning session best lap.
Absolute Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R on top
Both Belgian drivers Alessio Picariello (#911 911 Absolute Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R) and Laurens Vanthoor (#25 Absolute Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R) were the fastest of the afternoon Free Practice 2 in 2:21.329 for #911 and 2:21.633 for #25.
Ferrari 296 GT3 third
Daniel Serra in the #51 Harmony Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 was third quickest in 2:21.937 and the last under the 2:22 mark.
BMW M4 GT3 fourth and fifth
Raffaele Marciello with #1 BMW M4 GT3s from Toro Racing powered by MCG was fourth in 2:22.053 , 0.366 seconds ahead of Augusto Farfus with #89 Team KRC BMW M4 GT3.
