Corvette Racing at 24 Hours of Le Mans
The Keating/Catsburg/Varrone trio won the first two WEC races of the season at the Sebring 1,000 Miles and Six Hours of Portimão and followed with a runner-up finish at the Spa Six Hours to take the championship lead. The start was delayed due to the cold so that track temperature could reach the minimum 5°. Literally minutes later a storm blew in and before long the snow was falling again. And that’s pretty much how the race went as weather conditions cycled between clear and sunny to wet and windy as virtually every form of water fell from the skies.
