Cadillac Racing confirms 6 drivers who will contest all nine rounds of the IMSA GTP schedule in Cadillac V-Series.Rs and 5 endurance race drivers with 2 WEC Toyota Gazoo Racing official drivers.

Porsche Penske Motorsport switches up its IMSA and WEC driver squad for the 2025 season, with a base line of two drivers per car as well as the integration of Andlauer in WEC.

Both Porsche Penske Motorsport Porsche 963 will tackle round five, at Detroit, of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship from first row. Nick Tandy with #6 did set the fastest lap time in qualifying ahead of his teammate Dane Cameron.

Ahead of the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Porsche is third in the FIA World Endurance Manufacturer’s Championship (WEC) and second in the Weathertech Sportscar Manufacturer’s Championship (IMSA). For the June 9th race, Porsche will feature 4 LMDH prototypes.

Porsche Penske Motorsport is third in both IMSA and WEC manufacturers championships still in contention in IMSA but far behind in points in WEC. After suffering technical issues in Daytona, both Porsche 963 were lacking performance in WEC and suffering technical issues. In IMSA, both cars were in contention for a double at Sebring and Porsche 963 #6 clinched its first victory at Long Beach in IMSA.

The Porsche Penske Motorsport switches from long distance to the shortest race of the season of just 100 minutes long. At Long Beach, the two Porsche 963 face their first street course. Four Porsche customer teams take on the competition in the GTD-Pro and GTD classes with five Porsche 911 GT3 R.

#31 Whelen Engineering/Action Express Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R dominated the 67th edition of the 12 Hours of Sebring being in the lead for 249 of 348 laps but was seriously challenged by #10 Konica Minolta/Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac ending second, with the closest racing finish in Sebring’s history: 1.030 seconds.

At Sebring 12 Hours 2019, the battle in IMSA GTLM was tight, with 6 cars finishing in the same lap representing 4 different manufacturers: Porsche was the first GTLM car to hit the checkered flag, followed by Ford, Corvette and BMW.
