Le Mans 1985: Customers beat Works team
Second victory in a row for Klaus Ludwig and Joest Racing. Associated to Paolo Barilla, Klaus Ludwig won thereby his third 24 Hours of Le Mans after a strange race where teams were more mindful of fuel economy then speed.

After an epic battle with Theo Fabi and Ricardo Patrese in their Lancia LC1, Jacky Ickx and Jochen Mass won the 1982 1.000 km of Spa with their Porsche 956.
24 Hours of Le Mans 1982
In 1982, the FIA World Sportscar Championship launched new regulations Introducing Group C sportscars. For its first 24 hours race in Group C, Porsche won all the podium places, with the 3 Rothmans-sponsored Porsche 956 ending in perfect formation across the finish line exactly as were their racing numbers.
