Crowdstrike 24 Hours of Spa: Official Test Day 2

Sunny sky this Wednesday morning for the second official test day of the Crowdstrike 24 Hours of Spa. The second morning session was the fastest of both official test days as #21 Comtoyou Racing Audi and #88 Akkodis ASP team Mercedes did set the overall fastest laps.

Audi tops overall and Gold class

Same team as yesterday but different car who dominated the second day as #21 Comtoyou Racing Audi from Max Hofer did set the fastest lap of both official test days thanks to a 2m16.627s. #21 also tops Gold class.

#88 Akkodis ASP Team Mercedes-AMG GT3 was second fastest of the second day morning session and also the second best for both days.

Haase fastest lap during yesterday afternoon session with Audi R8 LMS evo II #11 from Comtoyou Racing becomes the third best performance of combined sessions.

#40 Tresor Orange 1 Audi LMS GT3 Evo II was third fastest of session 2 and 3 in 2:16.751 which is the fourth fastest of combined sessions.

Julian Andlauer in the #92 Manthey EMA Porsche 911 GT3 R who was second of session 2 becomes fifth of combined sessions. Note that Manthey EMA was not present during the second day.

#96 Porsche 911 GT3 R from Rutronik Racing from Thomas Preining was the fastest of Wednesday afternoon session with 2.16:875 which sets the car as sixth of combined sessions.

Audi tops Silver class

#99 Audi LMS GT3 Evo II by Tresor Attempto Racing was the fourth fastest during today’s morning session which is the seventh performance of combined sessions. The #99 Audi is also the fastest of Silver class for combined sessions.

Fifth Audi in the top eight of combined session is the #25 Audi LMS GT3 Evo II by Sainteloc junior team who was the fifth fastest of today’s morning session.

Porsche tops Bronze class

Ninth of combined session and last car to set a lap under 2:17 of combined session is #23 Grove Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R driven by Earl Bamber recent winner of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring who was second fastest fo today’s afternoon session. The Grove Racing Porsche was also the fastest of Bronze class.

Tenth of combined session is #3 GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG GT3 (sixth of today’s afternoon session).

The Crowdstrike 24 hours of Spa will last June 29 - July 2. Thursday 29 June will see practice and qualifying sessions, followed on Friday by the decisive Super Pole contest. The CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa sets off on its 75th running on Saturday 1 July at 16:30 CEST.

It is the mid-season round (third out of five) of the Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli where teams can score the maximum points in a race therefore making it a key decision maker for the Championship.

The Crowdstrike 24 hours of Spa will also be the fourth round (out of ten) of the Fanatec GT World Challenge powered by AWS and the third race (out of five) of the Fanatec GT World Challenge powered by AWS Endurance Cup.
