Crowdstrike 24 Hours of Spa: Qualifying
Qualifying took place in four 15-minute sessions where each entry’s drivers participate in a different round. It is the average of these four sessions that defines the combined ranking. The first 20 will take part in this Friday's superpole at 3:35 p.m. Rain started during the second session and intensified during the third. Under those conditions the fastest lap of the third session was more than 17 seconds from the fastest lap of the first session in which the pro pilots could not participate (because there are only three).
It were the competitors who took advantage of a track that was still dry at the start of Q1 who were decisive for the final classification of these qualifications established at the average times of the four sessions.
Porsche (6), Audi (5) and Lamborghini (4) have the highest number of cars per manufacturer represented in the top 20 who did qualify for the Super Pole yesterday under dry and later raining conditions.
