Battle On The Bricks Practice 1

Matt Campbell established the benchmark during practice 1 Friday afternoon in training for the first Battle On The Bricks at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. Felipe Albuquerque was very close scoring second fastest lap just 0.022 sec. slower than Campbell.

Matt Campbell did set the fastest lap during practice 1 Friday afternoon in 1:15.184. His team mate, Felipe Nasr, was fourth best confirming the rise in power of the Porsches after the good results obtained last weekend at Fuji in the WEC.

Felipe Albuquerque was very close, only 0.022 sec. slower than Campbell with #10 WTR Andretti Acura ARX-06.

Sebastien Bourdais did set the third best performance of the day in 1:15.400, 0.216 sec. slower than Campbell. Renger van der Zande was sixth of the session.

Connor De Philippi was fifth fastest which puts his BMW M V8 Hybrid in P4. Philipp Eng was seventh fastest.

LMP2

In the LMP2 class, Mikkel Jensen with #11 TDS Racing Oreca was the fastest in 1:17.231.

GTD PRO class

In the GT Daytona class, Patrick Gallagher with #96 Turner Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 did set the fastest lap of the class. His Team mate Rob Folley was second fastest in GTD class.
