Louis Deletraz set fastest lap of combined sessions

Louis Deletraz led the second practice and combined sessions ahead of qualifying for Sunday’s Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Five drivers did set a best lap under the 1:16 mark.

Louis Deletraz with the Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti Acura ARX-06 #40 did set the fastest lap of combined practices in 1:15.422.

Felipe Nasr with #7 Porsche second

The #7 Penske Porsche 963 of Felipe Nasr was edged out by 0.282 seconds setting a best lap of 1:15.704.

Lamborghini SC63 third

Romain Grosjean did set a best lap of 1:15.840 which puts the Lamborghini SC63 in P3 of combined practices. It is only the third IMSA race for the Italian prototype and a significant improvement from previous races at Sebring and Watkins Glen.

Acura #10 fourth

#01 Cadillac seventh

Both Cadillac Racing drivers were seventh and eighth of combined practices drivers’ fastest lap in 1:16.177 for van der Zande and 1:16.202 for Bourdais.
