Laguna Seca: Porsche tops qualifications

Porsche qualifies first in every category in which they participate at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

Matt Campbell dominated the qualifying in Laguna Seca at the wheel of the #7 Porsche Penske Motorsport Porsche 963 followed closely by Mathieu Jaminet with sister #6. Both Porsche 963 will start from first row the 2-hour, 40-minute MOTUL Course de Monterey at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

In the GTD-Pro class, Klaus Bachler secured the best grid position in Pfaff Motorsports’ Porsche 911 GT3 R #9.

Alec Udell achieved the same in the GTD category in the identical model campaigned by Kellymoss with Riley.

Colin Braun and Meyer Shank Racing led the Acura ARX-06 effort in IMSA GTP qualifying today, lining up third at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in the #60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura ARX-06.
