This morning Free Practice was driven in highly wet conditions as all the pictures will testify.

The afternoon Pre Qualification session took place in dry weather.

3 PRO teams are among the top three performers in today’s pre-qualification session with Akkodis ASP Team Mercedes AMG leading.

Raffaele Marciello, Daniel Juncadella, Jules Gounon driving Mercedes-AMG GT3 #88 were dominating the session.

Audis are in better condition in Hockenheim than in Spa as two Audi R8 LMS evo II GT3 complete the Pre Qualification « podium » with

Markus Winkelhock, Kim Luis Schramm, Dennis Marschall on board of Attempto Racing Audi R8 LMS evo II GT3 #66 ended second.

Dries Vanthoor, Kelvin van der Linde, Charles Weerts are third with Team WRT Audi R8 LMS evo II GT3 #32.

Oliver Millroy, Brendan Iribe, Frederik Schandorff drove Inception Racing McLaren 720S GT3 #7 in fourth.

Christian Klien, Vincent Abril, Dennis Lind on board of JP Motorsport McLaren 720S GT3 #111 are fifth.

Vargas Manuel Maldonado, Nicolai Kjaergaard, Dean Macdonald with Garage 59 McLaren 720S GT3 #159 are sixth overall and first Silver Cup team.

Christopher Haase, Mattia Drudi, Luca Ghiotto drove Tresor by Car Collection Audi #12 to seventh.

Team WRT has a second car in the top eight with Audi R8 LMS evo II GT3 #30 driven by Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer, Benjamin Goethe, Thomas Neubauer who are also second in the Silver Cup Pre Qualifying ranking.
