Deletraz sets FP1 Benchmark
Louis Deletraz did set the pace in Free Practice 1 this morning with #14 AO by TF Oreca 07 Gibson in 1:28.821. Deletraz was the only one to drive below the 1:29’’ mark during the first free practice.
Alexander Lynn with #25 Algarve Pro Racing was the second fastest in 1:29.053, 0,232 sec. short from Deletraz lap.
2023 series champion James Allen in #30 Duqueine ORECA ended up third 0,3’’ off the session’s fastest lap.
Reshad De Gerus with #28 IDEC Oreca was fourth best in 1:29:384, 0,563 sec. off session’s benchmark.
Benjamin Hanley with #22 United Autosports Oreca was fifth within 0,65 sec. off the Benchmark time in 1:29.470.
United Autosports tops PRO-AM
In LMP2 PRO-AM, Oliver Jarvis with the #21 United Autosports ORECA was 11th overall in 1:30.026. Interesting to note that none of the PRO drivers in this class were able to drive a lap below the 1:30’’ mark.
COOL Racing in LMP3
Manuel Espírito Santo with #17 COOL Racing headed the LMP3 class in 1:35.045, more than half a second faster than the next LMP3 driver during the session.
Five Ferrari 296 GT3 top LMGT3
Five of the six Ferrari 296 GT3 in the entry list did top the session with leader Phil Keen driving the #66 from JMW Motorsport in 1:40.826.
The Iron Dames with #85 Porsche 911 GT3 R were the first non Ferrari in the ranking thanks to Michele Gatting in 1:41.699 which is 0,873’’ slower than #66 Ferrari!
