IMSA 2022: 6 Hours of The Glen - Qualifications
The qualifying session for Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen this afternoon has set its verdict for the grid positions for tomorrow's race.

The #60 Meyer Shank Racing W/Curb-Agajanian Acura with Tom Blomqvist and Oliver Jarvis will start from pole after Blomqvist set the fastest lap of the session.
The two Acura’s will start from row one as Filipe Albuquerque with #10 Konica Minolta Acura Arx-05 set the second best performance.
Both Cadillac Racing #01 qualified by Sebastien Bourdais and #02 qualified by Earl Bamber will start from second row.
They will be followed by two other Cadillac DPI with Whelen Engineering Racing Cadillac DPi #31 and JDC Motorsport #5 Cadillac.
Kamui Kobayashi with the Ally Cadillac #48 only managed to run 3 laps setting the 45th performance of the session.
LMP2

Ben Keating was the fastest in LMP2 with #52 PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports ORECA demonstrating that, together with Mikkel Jensen (fastest in practice 1) and Scott Huffaker, they are the favorites of the class although sister car #11 is just 0.001 sec. behind. Both cars will start from row 1 of LM2 class.
All other cars in the class are more than 1.5 sec. behind the two PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports cars.
LMP3

N. Varonne was the fastest in LMP3 with #40 FastMD Racing Duqueine D08, 0.562 sec. ahead of #58 MLT Motorsport Ligier JS P320.
Four Ligier JS P320 follow in a handkerchief (in less than 0.193 sec.): #54 CORE Autosport, #36 Andretti Autosport, #38 Performance Tech Motorsport and #74 Riley Motorsport 1.260 sec. behind #52.
GTD PRO and GTD

Connor De Philippi was the fastest and will start from pole of the GTD start grid with his #25 BMW M Team RLL BMW M4 GT3. Ross Gunn with #23 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 will also start from the first row as he ended second the qualification session.

Mike Skeen is third overall (both GTD classes) in the middle of 4 GTD PRO with his #32 Mercedes AMG GT3 from Team Korthoff Motorsport. Together with Stevan Mc Aleer and Dirk Mueller, they dominated the two days sessions in GTD class.
