Marciello leaves Mercedes-AMG with second victory at Macau

Second victory in a row for Raffaele Marciello who dominated the FIA GT World Cup on the streets of Macau from qualifications to main race with his Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.

2019 FIA GT WOLRD CUP winner Raffaele Marciello led the 19-lap race throughout in his #48 Team Landgraf Mercedes-AMG GT3 and was never threatened moreover that Maro Engel (second) could not restart his Craft-Bamboo Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 #77 after the only safety car of the race.

Edoardo Mortara, who started third in the #40 Absolute Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II ended second benefiting from Maro Engel’s abandon. He managed to resist to several assault from Sheldon van der Linde with his #32 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 who had to pit with a puncture.

Starting from P4, Augusto Farfus with Rowe Racing BMW M4 GT3 #11 was initially overtaken by Sheldon van der Linde. With Engel’s retirement and van der Linde pit stop, Augusto Farfus ends third.
